As many students are returning from Spring Break trips, others are leaving for theirs. March officially kicks off the Spring Break season, and officials in the Florida Panhandle and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are again warning students of drugs, impaired driving, and underage drinking.

Spring Break, laws and rules don’t change even when you’re under the influence. 37 Auburn University students were arrested in the Destin/Okaloosa area for underage drinking in the past week according a spokesperson for the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. Officials don’t want that to be you.

Spring Break culture kinda ruined it for everyone. I got plenty drunk at SB but never understood trashing a beach house or having an outright club scene on the beach at 1:00pm

I think most folks on this board aged out of spring break more than a decade ago

A Great White was caught from the beach last week, off Orange Beach. Damn, that'll clear out the water pretty fast

This past weekend in Gulf Shores I saw (and smelled) a bunch of young ladies sittin’ in a car (at a putt putt) smoking some stink weed.

Some things never change.

Made me remember my days of going to Daytona for MTVs Spring Break in the late 80s.

Those were the days.

They closed Alabama Point two weeks ago to keep spring breakers off of it.

OBA is already a shite show between that and baseball tournaments.

Getting a few days off for Mardi Gras was pretty cool at LSU but having spring break around Easter and weeks later than the rest of the schools was such a nice perk. Better weather, cheaper rentals and you don’t have every cop in the area looking to shove a boot up your arse.

If anyone is headed to South Padre, don’t even think about going into Mexico.

SB season in OB/GS is this week through Easter weekend. Last week it was really nice here in OB. This week is totally different. I have seen more out of state tags than in state tags. It’s crowded and the traffic sucks.

Hell yeah, I was there for the 90 or 91 version of MTV Spring Break. Weather was awful.

Great memories of SB in the late 90’s and early 2000’s in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Cops were pretty cool back then. Not as crowded.

Tons of house parties all over Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

Going to the Bama till close then the Keg for a burger and walk out at 6am.

Man those were some fun times!

I live in South Texas. Matamoros is one of the most dangerous places in the world right now. Kidnapping and murders occur in the middle of the day in main streets are commonplace.
