I hate Bama, but should he be in the 15 finalist? Seems like everyone knows he should not be playing.
The Wooden Award honors the “most outstanding” man and woman in college basketball every year. The 2022-23 season finalists were announced Saturday on ESPN. Brandon Miller wasn’t among the 15 selected.

The national media always knows what is best. We should all follow their lead.

Only if the award wants to be viewed as legit.

They’ve probably done homework and know he will do it again.

No. He should kicked off the team already.

Read the qualifications for the award
He put himself in a position that questions those qualifications.
I don’t feel sorry for him, regardless. It’s just an award. He’s lucky he’s not in legal trouble, let alone jail.

He was just in the car sitting not out standing, maybe that’s it?

This year's basketball reversal of fortunes with Alabama and Auburn has really left a mark with you, TT and several other normally rational Barn posters. Why is it so bad? Does the poor overall showing of Auburn athletic in general account for it? Please don't insult the board further with your holier than thou comments about the Miles case...we're all sick of the hypocrisy by now.
C'mon, be honest with us.

The Wooden award website lists the following as qualifications to win the award:
"Candidates must be full-time students in an accredited NCAA college or university; candidates must be a full-time student making progress toward graduation and have a cumulative 2.00 grade point average since enrolling in their school; candidates must exhibit strength of character, both on and off the court; candidates should contribute to team effort; candidates must excel in both offense and defense; and candidates should be considered on their performance over the course of the entire season.

No, considering character is a part of the award and being involved in a murder doesn’t exactly show good character.

It is impossible to have University of Alabama zealots understand something when their whole identity, self-esteem and self-worth depend on them NOT understanding it. The Bama fanbase has always identified with a backward population that places winning in sports over esthetics or academic excellence. "Roll Tide" is the shameful apology for those uncaring naïve folks without personal integrity, self-respect or sense of decency.
