The DA said they don't have enough evidence, in their mind, to indict him. I can tell you for a fact that they do have enough to indict him
So you know more than the DA? Either that or you know for a fact the DA is lying. Which is it?

In most rational states there would be more than enough to charge him. But it’s Alabama and the U of Alabama. Enough said

So a conspiracy theory of a massive coverup is what y'all are attaching yourselves to? Got it.

You're right. It is enough said. Those cops and that DA wouldn't know Brandon Miller from their arse or a hole in the ground. Bryce Young? Sure. But let's not act like basketball players are rock stars on campus.

I don’t know more than the DA, but I know he has enough to indict him if he wants to, based on nothing more than the facts that have been disclosed. It’s very easy to indict someone, and he has more than he needs to do it. There’s an old saying in the legal profession that a DA can indict a ham sandwich if he wants to. It’s that easy.

Public figures get more of a benefit of the doubt than your average Joe when it comes to things like this.

Did the REC throw bags of cash at the DA to cover something up? Unlikely. What is likely is that you have an elected official in Tuscaloosa County who would rather not deal with the political ramifications of indicting Bama's star player if he can help it.

It looks even worse to those voters that he sidestepped charging someone (if he committed a crime) for another person's death, regardless of what team he plays for.

So you are going with massive cover up

I don't think it's a "massive cover up," it's just a fact of life.
You should be used to it being from Louisiana and all.

At some point, University of Alabama officials became aware that Brandon Miller received a text from Miles asking him to bring him his gun because someone was "fakin'". Miller immediately transports the gun to the scene. Miles gets in Miller's car, hands the gun to Davis, and Davis immediately begins shooting. Miller flees the scene. Miller does not report the incident to law enforcement, despite the fact that his car has two bullet holes in it.
Forget about everything else we don't know. Those facts alone are enough for any DA to indict someone in Miller's situation. That's a fact. As soon as Bama knew he was involved he should have been suspended, at a minimum, at least until such time as Bama completed it's own investigation. But that time has passed. They chose to turn a blind eye because Miller is the star player on the #1 team.
What do I want to happen now? Nothing. They had their chance to do the right thing at the outset. They've shown their true colors. I hope they play him for the rest of the season and get crucified in the media for the POS institution they are.
Those aren't facts, you idiot.

I want you to never complain about police not enforcing laws, prosecutors not prosecuting crimes, and judges letting criminals get off easy ever again. Either you support restorative justice or you don't.

Too late really. He shoukd have been suspended from team once his involvement was known regarding gun. Probably 2 or 3 games while investigators and DA were figuring out who did what. He would be back playing already.
The fact that nothing happened to him at all is why school is catching so much heat. It was his gun at the end of the day and there are no consequences at all. None. Not a great look,

So when Miles is found not guilty because of self defense, what will happen to this board?
Explosion!!!
Explosion!!!

So nobody has ever been falsely accused or charged in Tuscaloosa… damn.
