We don’t know if he chose not to arrest him or received that directive from the DA.
Ah. A conspiracy. Once again, if such a thing were to have taken place, it will all come out at court.

Why not? I rather enjoy the attention.

Let's say I loan you my car and then you return it when I ask for it. I then loan it to another person who intentionally runs a lady over with it. Should you be held responsible in any way for her death? After all, if you had not returned the car to me, I could not have loaned it to the other person and they would not have had the car to run the lady over...
Is the lady in my scenario any less dead because she was murdered with a car?

If Brandon Miller played for Vandy none of you would care.. but he doesn’t! He plays for ALABAMA!
I would absolutely care.

quote:Which, based on the testimony of the detective, is odd. That’s why an explanation from the DA seems appropriate.
Miller isn’t on trial.. he hasn’t been charged
quote:I don’t want it if there is a legitimate reason for no charges. I would like to hear that explanation first. I do believe strongly, given the testimony of the detective, most in Miller’s shoes would have been charged.
I understand that you all want him to be charged.

He isn’t an accomplice to Murder,
The rest of your post is just emotional diarrhea making accusations in response to me that don’t apply to me.

quote:No. It is ultimately up to the DA whether to bring charges and it wouldn’t be unusual in a case like this for the detective to consult the DA on whether or not to make an arrest.
Ah. A conspiracy.
ETA: the detective could have pushed for an arrest and believed Miller was an accessory and the DA could have instructed him that he isn’t going to pursue charges because he doesn’t think the circumstantial evidence of intent is sufficient to get a conviction.

My response to you encompasses every dipshit on this forum that insists Miller is guilty!
There may be evidence in your mind because you don’t have all the facts.. the DA doesn’t owe an explanation about someone that isn’t a suspect. He’s trying to make a case against Miles and Davis.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been told that the self defense claim they are making might actually hold some water.. I guess the jury will decide

Exactly. That’s why my response to the op was a list requesting additional information.

I already gave him that answer and he didn't like that one either.
Nothing is going to make him or any of these other idiots happy.

I’m sure there is. Most of that will be related to Miles and Davis. OP asked a question that I answered.
Since Miller isn’t a suspect, and since the detectives testimony implicated him in the crime, requesting an explanation as to what additional evidence is known that went into the DAs decision not to charge him is more than reasonable in my view.

All of you act like Alabama owes you an explanation or must do something to satisfy you..THEY DON'T!
None of you know the whole story..indeed when all is said and done Miles and the other accused individual could end up walking free from some of what I have seen.
You took what you wanted to see and demanded what you wanted to happen.

All he had to do was NOT take the gun.
If Miles had been gunned down in the street by the person we know was armed in the Jeep, you would still be okay if Miller had not pulled up with the gun in his car, correct?

I don't owe you an explanation either.

They said they believe it was Miles' friend.
What I wonder is if stand your ground might not play a part in their defense.

But none of you really care about that… you care about trying to punish the school that your great granddaddy , granddaddy and daddy taught you to hate.. because Alabama built this conference, owns this conference and has been stomping a mud hole in your arse for a century.
You really want it to be this way but its not.
Most just think its unheard of to have someone continue playing a college sport who was obviously under some type of murder investigation at some time. The fact he just got to play through its absolutely NUTS.
You people not having a problem with any of it is why folks are bothered. Not that a team from bama beat a team from another school at some point in time. The way you all have compartmentalized a tragedy is really fricking odd.
