For returning an item to its rightful owner, when that owner asked for it? What is the crime that he supposedly committed?

Given the context surrounding what the item was, and the circumstances under which it was requested.

Yes. Absolutely.

Again, I suppose that's the difference between me and y'all.

When did it become illegal to have a gun in America? I knew democrats/liberals had been pushing for that, but didn't know they had succeeded. It's also news that we are now guilty until proven innocent...

The rival fans that have put a ton of energy and attention into this case over the last week want Alabama to suffer. They want Bradnon Miller to suffer, even though he hasn't been charged with a damn thing. They want Nate Oats and Greg Byrne to suffer for their idiotic public statements and they want the entire athletic program dismantled.

Anything short of the above means they've quite literally wasted days of brain cells and person time invested in a lost cause.

By this token, Bammers are wasting a lot of energy defending someone who hasn't been charged with a crime.

Stop bringing legality into everything. This is about team/school culture. It’s clear what Bama is okay with at this point. And it’s clear what South Carolina isn’t okay with.

I'm glad the university hasn't caved to an angry mob. Cancel culture has no place in society. The guy hasn't been charged with anything because there is nothing there according to DA and he is a fully cooperating witness. Again, why are we punishing someone that is innocent? Because a mob says he's guilty?

If I loaned you a car and then you returned it to me when I asked for it, then I loaned that car to someone else who intentionally ran over a lady should you be held accountable for returning the car to me? If not, why. The lady is no less dead.

Again, it’s about the administration not a legal court case. Bama could be reprimanding Miller internally, to at least show even an association to any of this has consequences. That’s likely the case if Bama was having a season with nothing on the line.

When did we defend Brian Kelly or Will Wade?

So you want him punished… regardless if he’s done anything wrong. The DA has said he’s not a suspect, he’s a witness!

But that doesn’t matter to you.. you just want him suspended.

I guess you want him to prove his innocence…

Get off the moral stump. It’s disingenuous and actually in-American.

So the Administration should cave to the angry mob? No thanks. If he did something wrong, convict him before you punish him.

That's bullshite, imo. Legally owning a gun should not be breaking team rules or school rules. If it was legally owned that is. I get its a privilege, so the "shall not be infringed part" of the 2nd isn't applicable. But I bet there are football players at USC that legally own guns that haven't been kicked out of school. Some of them probably own several guns, and that's fine with me.

I for one hope that all aspects of our lives have the "innocent until proven guilty" attitude. Whether that be in court, in marriage, in school or at work. I hope people gather the facts and then analyze them BEFORE any punishment is dished out. But that is me.

He's wrong anyhow, they've only been suspended and it's because they had the gun on campus in the dorms.

Those 3 SCar players had guns in the dorms and were suspended, not kicked off the team.

How much you want to bet that there's more to the story as well? No doubt these 3 weren't model players and this was the last straw and the excuse needed to get rid of them.

I'll direct you to the second half of the sentence of mine you partially quoted.

If they ask for you car, late at night, because someone made them mad. And you gave it to them. And them they ran the lady over.

Then, yes. I would want you disassociated from my alma mater. 100%. Context matters.

Once again, I guess that's the difference between me and y'all.

Yep, he's lying. Only suspended and the players were actually charged with something (obstruction of justice and carrying weapons on school property).

I am shocked! Posters with a vendetta against Alabama misrepresented things in order to try to prove a point. And they say we're the ones lying through our teeth.

So you think that UA should throw a student athlete under the bus because it would be good for PR?

Personally, I’m glad and proud that my school has decided not to do that!
