Now that it’s official, can LSU and Texas successfully co-parent?

LSU in not trying to replace their biological dad, but the last ten years LSU had to fill that role.

LSU never considered A&M a rival. A&M tried way too hard with it (see cups).

A&M thought by leaving Big12 they could be the big boys, but UT ruined that lol.

I'd rather just return legal and physical custody to the Horns.

I'm good with the hyphenated thing.

Kyle Field at DKR-Tiger Stadium sounds good to me.

Y’all can keep them. We haven’t particularly missed their cultish obsession and all-male cheerleading squad

LSU doens't have one. Not one that goes both ways. I mean the hate on one side is as great as the other.

A&M and Texas
Arkie and Texas
Ole Mis and State
Bama and Auburn
Florida and Florida st
Mizzou and Kansas
OU and Texas/Ok St
Kentucky Louisville
South Carolina and Clemson
UGA and GT
Tennessee and Bama
Auburn and UGA

These are TRUE rival games. Any others are just made up TV rivals that aren't real.

LSU may not have a true rival, but I think that is actually an advantage in a lot of ways. With the success of the program over the last 20 years, most teams consider beating LSU a big deal. I would rather have a huge recruiting area where families dont begin pitting you against a rival at an early age.

It’s a rivalry. The two schools have history and regional ties. LSU has played A&M more times than they’ve played Auburn and almost as many as Florida. With all the plants from Houston to Lake Charles LSU fans and A&M fans have to deal with each other a lot.

I'd imagine LSU is the feminine one in this weird scenario. Not a slight, they are just the more attractive program. They have all the gold and purple and less cow shite on their shoes.

Gonna be hard for A&M to get to 8 wins consistently with two scheduled losses every year.

Y'alls record since they joined the SEC + our record vs them in the Mack Brown era is just laughably bad. ~25% win rate.
