Joe Montana 2.0, Arch is going to carve defenses up.

That's why we didn't want Arch.

Is he talented? Yes. Is he overrated? Yes. We shall see how he fits at UT. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a bust or plays elite.

“Overrated” and “UT” are a match made in heaven

If you think high school classification doesn't matter at all then you are also high. It most definitely is part of the equation.

I guess we’ll see. All of the Manning’s + OBJ played at the same high school in the same league and turned out just fine
But I’m sure Kirby Smart, Nick saban and literally every other coach in the country wanted him for no reason though

Kirby runs off QB1s to play walkons, and if Saban had wanted Arch he would be at Bama. Arch is at Texas because it was the highest profile remaining option when everyone actually figured out he is a pig in a poke.

I imagine he will be similar to the back up QB from necessary roughness.

Carson Beck (former 4 star player)
Brock Vandergriff (former 5 star player)
Gunner Stockton (former 5 star player)
All still on campus...not gone anywhere.
Yes, they played behind a former walkon, who passed for over 4000, more than Hooker or Young, was MVP of two national championship games and two playoff games. Not a bad decision to play him.

They also had tape that looked spectacular while Arch looks average.

He is more then overrated, he isn't anything special at all other then his last name.

275 per game vs 298 a game…. It’s like the suspense of disbelief is a requirement to be a UGA fan. Bennett threw for 275 a game, didn’t not play in the second half of games, was throwing passes until the last or next to last series in all but a couple games this year. And 2/3s of his yards went to a TE or the RBs. Dude isn’t a QB1.

I haven't been on this forum long, but uh, sorry fella, this might be the most ignorant post I've seen...and I've seen some dumb ones.
lol Can you only imagine how many yards he would have had if he would have gone full throttle All game EVERY game? He'd have had probably 5000 yards!
And he was throwing to TEs, because we have the best TEs in the known universe. Why would he NOT have thrown to them?
Whether he threw to a WR, TE or RB, uh, wouldn't that STILL be a completed pass?
