Coleman is a solid 4 star

According to the Bama idiots he’s severely overrated.

Unless they flip him back then he’s a generational talent because everyone Saban signs is a generational talent.

If Coleman grows 2 more inches he's a 5 star all day

Would love to get Lacey, but I really hope he doesn't reclass. It benefits us more if he's in next years class. And I still really don't see where reclassing has helped many players.

When did AU lose its influence in Prichard? I know Dye and Tot both had success there.

That's due to Joe Whitt being on staff for both. He owned Mobile. When he left, so did our influence down there!

Starting to see the entire 251 starting to look at AU again. Need to get back solidly in Mobile, East and south Atlanta, south Florida, and then make all the top 20 instate recruits consider AU. There will always be 2-3 each year in state that just won’t come to Auburn “ to much Bama in ‘em”

After Witt it was D Craig also. I don’t know that the Mobile talent level didn’t drop a little but has picked back up. Maybe I’m mistaken

More schools down there and the coaching at those new schools wasn’t up to par but they are getting back now.

Mobile has always been an outlier in terms of geography to the state schools. AU has to battle SPUAT as well as LSU (which is actually closer to Mobile) and FSU.

Speaking of new schools when is the new Auburn high school supposed to be built and break away from the original Auburn high? Splitting that talent will make both schools irrelevant when it comes to high school football. However I do understand it by teacher student ratio which is more important then high school football.

Auburn High might lose a great coach in Keith Etheredge because of it tho. I know Hoover is looking around I could see them looking at Etheredge and/or Jake Ganus.

Ok read an article today basically saying the NCAA has said they can't stop multiple transfers. With that said please back channel Thomas Castellanos at Boston College and get him to Auburn.

The fact that Auburn is the biggest HS in the state now is pretty crazy. Just goes to show that Auburn isn't what a lot of us experienced in our day.

And I agree that the Mobile area is back, after a short hiatus. Same as Coach said, new schools but more than that, better coaching. The players have always been there. Talent is becoming more developed with better coaching.

I’m going to ask more about Lacey. I’m not sure about the reclass but I do know his interest in us has only grown over time and we’ll be hard to beat out for him. And just looking at the QB situation, he has a much better chance of competing for a starting spot at Auburn imo, as much as we all love Walker White. That would be a hell of a competition, as they’re two different players with different skill sets, but both have the potential to play at a very high level.
