4-star DL Amaris Williams?

quote:

The buzz: Auburn is coming on strong for Amaris Williams. I saw it Tuesday while he was still on campus, but after talking to sources post-visit, Auburn could be considered the favorite to land the four-star defensive lineman out of Clinton (N.C.). His commitment to Florida has been shaky, it still is, and Auburn is trending. He could visit Georgia this weekend.

Save the money for other elite players. He would be nice to have but likely doesn’t see the field until 2026, if ever.

Zavion Thomas (MSU WR) set an OV

Also offered Joey Slackman (Penn DL). Graded on PFF as 90.1

Do you all remember the rumor that Foster and Dismukes got into it at a bar, and Foster left his visit and went straight to Tuscaloosa? The rumor was Dismukes was a racist and said something to foster, and Auburn fans were calling for him to get kicked off the team even though it wasn’t true. Man, stupid times.

Ah yes, I remember this.

I actually made it onto RBR's Meltdown Time post that week with my comment that was essentially "When I heard that Reese said "renege", I immediately thought "there's no way he knows what that word means"

More On3 info, looks like Amaris won’t visit UGA this weekend and his recruitment may be down to Auburn and tOSU

A. Williams is an absolute stud. Everyone is hung up on getting LJ and he would be a huge pickup but Williams is a top tier get as well.

Right now I’m leaning us landing

A. Williams
Echols
Edwin
R. Williams

LJ and KJ to FSU

This one is weird to me, how did we lose a guy to TT? Sure hope it means we have another OL that is committing.

I only think Bolden is coming because we completely stopped recruiting Jalewis Solomon.

My confidence on Ryan Williams is like 55%. Lot of good signs for the good guys the past few weeks.

That would put us like 2-3 in rankings? I still don't understand the RW confidence but y'all do y'all.

I am on the everyone minus Bolden and RW guess. I think LJ is 50/50 but we really need him so maybe Hugh can stuff Billy.

Because he’s doing everything a team wanting him to flip would want him to do. He hasn’t publicly re-affirmed his commitment, has slotted Auburn as the last official, isn’t planning on signing until February, is visiting again on Sunday after his all star game. There are reasons to be optimistic and confident it’s an actual battle.
