We have no insiders. That is a fact.

I used to have access to a high level insider but he passed away several years ago. I knew so many things before they happened and it was amusing to read the insider message boards leading up to them.

I knew about the jet gate for Petrino the day before they took off. My friend swore me to secrecy long ago and I really respected him as a man and a father to people I love. I would never let that kind of info out but it was amazing to know important things for a fact and read all the speculation.

Probably a rebel-bear-landshark. Maybe we'll pick him up in the portal next year.

The only ones reporting that are the Ole Miss Sites. All the National guys still say Auburn. Incidentally, the Miami insiders think it’s Miami. Auburn insiders still say Auburn. Crickets out of UTk.

I’m more worried about UT than anyone. We’ve seen Rodney G pull some last minute BS off more times than we can count.

Just like Jalewis Solomon, right?

We may miss on Franklin, but Freeze is not Gus, the BBQ bunch or the potato posse. We won’t be officially out until the ink dries.

One of the Ole Miss mods that is predicting him to Ole Miss is only right 63% of the time.

But 63% of the time, he’s right every time

Hence me saying “usually.”

KJ Bolden was two weeks ago and was similar.

KJ Bolden kept everyone in the dark. No mods felt confident for any team.

Also, most mods felt confident Walker White was going Clemson, chose Auburn. MOst mods felt confident Joe Phillips was UGA bound, chose Auburn. The trend is changing.

FSU mods were confident and went to his announcement. Ole Miss mods are confident and all of the auburn “insiders” are hedging their bets. He’s going to Ole Miss it appears.

This recruiting class is going to be solid but not what it looked like it could be three weeks ago after Big Cat. Disappointing two week span losing out on Bolden, Bidunga, and now Franklin.

Back to reality it seems.

Hugh has shifted the narrative. It's not impossible for Miami or Ole Miss to take him, but at this point it would be an upset. That's incredible after the past 3-5 years of our recruiting.

Franklin didn't even come to Big Cat, Bidunga is a basketball recruit, and Franklin hasn't committed anywhere yet. Bolden didn't even have Auburn in his top 10 6 months ago and we finished top 2. (I don't think Bolden's recruitment is over either.)

Even if Auburn misses Franklin it won't be the end of the world, Can't blame a kid for staying home.

Every Ole Miss mod is picking him to choose Ole Miss. They clearly got some sort of intel. I don’t see any Auburn people confident today.

It would be an upset for us to land him.

Just means we know what we need to counter with. Still have a day to make that happen if we choose.

Ehhh, we’ve gotten beat out with offers for Cam Coleman and Bidunga recently. We clearly don’t have endless pocketbooks. This appears to be one Ole Miss isn’t letting get away. I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

One of the major recruiting websites gave an update not long ago saying Auburn looked good but Ole Miss has entered the picture and now we’re not sure where he’s going.

He gone.

Coleman was different - I doubt we even gave our highest offer to him. TAMU clearly orchestrated his surprise/ot of nowhere commit to avoid Hugh closing. Since then we've backed off.

Bidunga was getting paid wherever he went - his decision was more about scheme and fit. Plus, he has nothing to do with football.
