The reporter is from WSB, the station that runs a weekly show hyping Georgia football. It is all favorable. Coverage of Georgia this season in Atlanta was overwhelmingly positive. It's possible the team had an issue with that particular reporter. I have no idea. But overall coverage from the local stations was basically a celebration of a championship season.
This was not a good look from Stetson. I've been rooting for the guy. He worked his butt off and accomplished far more than anyone expected. But he looked like a total arse on Saturday. A celebration parade is not the time to lash out at your distractors. The odd thing is that he was absolutely fine interacting with fans and TV reporters at the Canes on Thursday. He was upbeat and fun. Two days later he turns into a bitter a-hole. Go figure.

Acting like a jerk is never a good idea. Rise above your distractors. Be the better person. Stetson looked like a tool. On the field, he set a great example of hard work and perserverence. Off the field, he was a terrible example for young kids who now believe that completing touchdown passes gives you the right to behave like a spoiled brat.
For the record, I was initially a Stetson doubter. I didn't think he had the physical tools to succeed in the SEC. I was wrong and I'm glad I was wrong and I was overjoyed that he came back this season. It bothered me that fans continued to doubt him after he'd clearly proven himself as a winner.
He's a clear winner on the field. Off the field he has a whole lot of growing up to do.

I caught a little of the parade on TV yesterday and I noticed MOST of the players were on their phones during the parade. I didn’t care for it.

As per Outkick the Coverage, he told Georgia’s SID office in advance that he would not talk to the media on Saturday. He made one exception for Scott Van Pelt apparently, but other than that he talked to NO one from the media, not this woman or anyone else.
IMO it’s on Georgia’s SID office for not letting people know that. My hunch is they probably figured he’d get caught up in the excitement of the moment and talk, but he didn’t.
And as someone who’s spent literally most of his life in journalism, and a huge chunk of it in sports journalism covering major college sports, it doesn’t bother me a bit that he didn’t want to talk. I never once thought anyone was obligated in any way to talk to me, and if someone didn’t I moved on and made it work a different way, but too many of my brethren in the trade wanted things to always be easy for them.

Just now seeing the clips. Not really sure what Stetsons problem is. He’s 25 years old so I expect him to be a little more mature but the main thing you just won back to back championships. It’s celebration time not sulk and pout. Just very weird to see someone not happy after winning a championship
