I know it's off season for most of you, so I thought I would offer you an off season topic.

Discuss among yourselves.

Honestly impressive to see Florida up there with the other four Ag colleges.

I really enjoyed Dr. Emily on Dr. Pol's show. She graduated from UGA.

I'm pretty sure they decide that path way before med school.

They take the same undergrad as human doctors and their mcats and gre scores are actually higher than the average person accepted to med school.

At UGA, anyway. Can't speak to the others.

I do know AnM's program is also highly regarded.

Don’t mind saying this about Auburn, but their Vet school/veterinary care is easily No. 1 out of that list. Not even a question.

Don’t know if it’s still true but at one time it was more difficult to get into veterinary school than med school

This has always been my understanding as well. Auburn's vet school has a long waiting list. LSU has a good vet school too.

It’s actually

1) A&M
2) Auburn
3) Florida
4) Georgia
5) LSU

All are within in the top 25 vet schools in the country regardless of conference

Consolation points for the actual existence of this thread making me lol

It's harder to be a vet than a MD.

At A&M that was true about 10 years ago, I’d imagine it’s still as challenging
