Alot of people out of our fanbase don't seem to realize most of this team is freshman and sophomores. I am very excited for what comes next. Most of the O will return as well as the D who is very young. Thoughts?

We are again losing most of our best players, which is natural. Losing Bennett, McIntosh, Big 0, Jones, probably Van Pran and McClendon, the two Smiths, Ringo and Carter on defense. We are going to definitely notice the loss of the Smiths and Carter. But, we will be better at WR and OLB. We have an easy schedule. I don't see 13-0 again, but I do see a very possible return to the playoffs. Our QB has to play well though.

I don't think anyone expected us to go 14-0 this year after losing half of our starters on defense, yet here we are. I think we could surprise ourselves again next year.

You can’t ever predict the future. A&M with elite talent and no bowl? TCU first year coach in the natty?

QB play can be unpredictable even with 5 stars. Injuries happen. Depth is one of our biggest assets and getting lots of guys time on the field

RB is an area I hope we can actually improve. We have been good but not great. Nolan out did really impact the team but got guys more time.

We get the final year of Bowers and some nice Wr transfers. I really believe KM2 will have a swift type of year next season.
Lb core will be a lot tougher
And the first 3 games of the season we'll definitely see a lot of new players coming in ready to step up.

They are true freshmen.
That one wasn't so difficult to see.

I agree with your TCU example though

Not sure I like 3 out of 4 early games being cupcakes but should be great talent development. ((And shitty watching))

Weaknesses should be OL and DB (losing two multi-year starters).

Strengths should be WR, TE and LB.

The question mark at QB underscores everything. The early season schedule is a cakewalk, though, so we will have some time to try to get things sorted out and in rhythm.

I think we will go as far as the QB takes us.

we are going to be every bit as good, if not better at basically every single position besides one.

it's the one position that matters. we will go as far as the QB takes us.

I think a lot will depend on how Monken can mold a QB to operate this offense they way Monken wants him to do it.

If we have a QB step up and be a phenom, look out. Maybe Gunner?

Then sell the damn tickets.

I don't mind it. But then again, I get excited about recruits for 2 years in high school. Of course I'm going to get excited to see them for the first time between the hedges.

Seriously. Sell the tickets.

Beck will have been in the system 4 years as of next year. He looked good in the spring game and has gotten a good bit of playing time this year. Chances are high he will get most of the snaps in spring and fall practice. I just don't see anyone being able to unseat him as next years starter barring a phenom explosion.

I think Stockton is the most Stetson-like of any in the QB room. Also, the 4-star 2024 QB also has the same skill set — similar size, very athletic/quick. I think Monken is building the offense around this type of QB.

Ah yes. That’s the problem. Not the playing of shitty teams.

You can’t even get back for those games what you have in them.
