Saban has that, what does it take to get that here. There is absolutely no reason for Young to be playing, what do we need to do to get players to buy in like bama players do?

He’s the best coach ever and coaching a dynasty. That definitely helps.
You can hate the man all you want but his players love to play for him.

Very Fair Question?
Not sure maybe:
Historic level of player expectation

Imo, it’s a marriage of program culture with having high character guys.
By no means saying our guys that opted out are low character because that’s absolutely not the case, the culture of the program wasn’t there for there first few years so this is all they know.

Years and years of winning culture. The expectation is to always compete and create value for yourself and your team.

Isn’t about one player, Anderson etc no reason and here we sit with 75% of our dline opting out to prepare for NFL draft. What you gonna do run more wind sprints, another game of experience and film IMo helps your NFL chances better than sitting home exercising. Just my opinion.

I think Kelly will eventually produce that here given the time and a few more classes

Except N. Harris, didn’t he say he left campus for 2 weeks because he didn’t want to play for him and they brushed it all under the rug.

Saban might be a dickhead but he doesn't bullshite around and I think that most players can respect that. It also helps that he's the greatest coach of all time. It's easier to get players to trust you when you've got that on your resume.

I’m not sure. Our program had a good culture this year and BJ Ojulari is a high character guy. I think it honestly comes down to having a HC who’s soulless enough to manipulate his players by any means necessary for his own personal benefit and I don’t think BK is willing to do that like Saban is

Maybe but if it’s only one player then that’s an outlier.

I think it’s more of the player wanting to be there for his coaches and teammates even though it may not benefit him to do so. Team first mentality no matter the circumstances

Pretty impressed so far with the answers. Was expecting a bunch of “they pay them!” May be part of the truth, but it’s more the culture and winning tradition Saban has implemented for 15 years.

Ok now list the players from Bama who are transferring and not playing.
Both have players who are playing, and some that are not. But let's choose to point out the Bama players playing, while ignoring the ones who aren't. And at the same time ignore the LSU players who are playing, and pointing out those that aren't. Some of you are so dumb that you can only see what you choose to see, and don't even realize it.
