How is 2007 LSU's resumé tainted? Every season is its own distinct monster with its own unique story. 2007's was a wild and wacky tailspin of a season that ended up entertaining all of us and giving us a BCS National Championship that, while featuring a two-loss team, featured the two best teams at the end of the season.
2020 might have been a season of opt outs and small crowds, but it was still a season nonetheless. In many ways it was harder than most as these players had to abandon any semblance of a social life in order to remain healthy and eligible to play. While Alabama didn't have to compete with hostile crowds, it had to compete with a hostile microbe that kept our head coach away from game prep the week of the Georgia game. That's freaking huge. The greatest coach in the history of the game had to Skype into practice while Kirby Smart - a solid coach in his own right - got to prepare his team for Alabama in person. A few weeks later, Saban straight up missed the Iron Bowl because he was sick with Covid.
Just think about the mental fortitude those players had to exude in order to keep the season afloat. If they screwed up just once and went somewhere they weren't supposed to, an outbreak could have been triggered and the season could have been over at the drop of a hat.

I may be a Bama fan but I tend to agree with you. As great as 2020 Bama team was [and I believe it was one of the best], the 2019 Tiger had something which couldn't be marked on a stat sheet.
As much crap as I give coach O, he was the perfect coach to motivate the LSU squad. Once they beat Bama, they became NFL west and would not be denied their destiny.
I don't see any team stopping them.
First, they slaughtered the Dawgs in the SEC Championship [something like the reverse of this year] and then repeated the performance against the Sooners.
I was happy they mud-stomped a good Clemson team to back to 2010.
