What I remember most about Alabama's 2020 national championship

All of the really cute cardboard cutouts at the games. The real action that season was in the stands. I liked all of the people who paid to have cardboard cutouts of their dogs and cats and all of their fur babies! I also liked how you could actually hear yourself think in the stadiums. When the crowd gets really loud at a football game it can get really annoying and hard to think. 2020 was the best.

That's weird.
I remember them fielding the best team of all time.

So you are telling me that Georgia's 2020 trip to Bryant Denny would have been even worse if they'd let more people in the stands?
Damn, I guess that's true.

Is this a response thread to the World Wide Leader in Sports declaring the 2020 Alabama Crimson Tide football team the greatest of all time? Because it looks like it.

If Stetson Bennett hadn't stepped on the guard's foot as he released the ball on that first interception Georgia would've won that game going away.

The noise must have flustered him

So now it's acceptable to play the what if game?
Well, well, well.

Wait, you mean worse than that 41-24 beat down?
Dang!

Best team of all time in a reduced amount of games and 25% fans in the stands for away games...right...
Not to mention players out due to covid except the Bama team

The Georgia guy was wide open. Bennett stepped on his foot. Without the dumb luck Georgia would've won by at least 2 touchdowns on that day. Maybe 3 or 4.

People who try to shite on Bama’s 2020 championship are some of the most pathetic. Every team was playing under the same circumstances. I watched every single Arkansas game and the level of play and effort was the same as every other season.

Does this help comfort you after today's, quite frankly, mediocre recruiting class?

We got over the 300 mark on 247, and 300 is the goal any season.. Losing Caleb Downs and especially Justice Haynes was a bummer, but other than that frick it. Plus I trust Kirby these days more than Saban to recruit to character and fit. Saban is getting too old to understand and relate to these darn kids like he used to be.

Yes I remember it fondly. How many games did they win that year? 8? 10?

13... odd to insult a 13 win season or natty as a mississippi state fan, but you do you.

They all got covid in the summer and fudged tests all season.
2019 got them BAD.

13.
Damn, that's almost twice as many games as their opponent in the national championship won that year.
