Do you remember arguing that a two loss LSU was going to make the playoffs after they beat A&M and Georgia? Those were fun times. That seems so long ago, but really it was just a few weeks.

Muhammed lit us up, as did Achane on the ground. I hope that also translates to some elite LBs saying "I can step in there".
There's nothing wrong with admitting there were holes on the team, it really makes for the ideal recruiting situation. Program is clearly trending upwards, but still missing a few vital pieces. You look at that and say "I can be the guy that pushes LSU over the top".
As compared to, say, Alabama or UGA, where you would say "I will probably win a ring, but might wait 3 yrs to play", or A&M where it's "I can step in and maybe get the team winning again".
