I remember when Spurrier was at South Carolina and went off on one reporter and then invited all the other media besides that reporter to another room for questions.
Just vaguely remember it but it gave me a laugh at the time.

I like Beamer, however he does tend to be overly sensitive. It's pretty easy to get him fired up, and the press knows this, so I'd expect them to try and get under his skin even more moving forward.

Good for Beamer. It's hard not to be impressed with what he's done at USC so far. The media & fans were trying to go full Tenner and run him out of town before he could even steal our starting TE... who is following DL. He'll, our top rated TE recruit is likely to flip to Bama... because DL is not going to be at Arkansas.
He should have the same conversation with most of the USC fanbase that has had DL on blast since the hire.
To be considered one of the "worst OCs in the NFL" is still miles above 90% of all coaches.

Loggans was an awful, and I mean awful, nfl play caller…. That’s not to say he hasn’t improved, but the only real experience as an OC was bad.
