As much as I would have loved to have Bobby back calling plays for the offense, there's no way he and Jimbo can co-exist calling plays unless Jimbo is willing to pull his head out of his arse and let Petrino do what he does best. Petrino with aTm 5* talent is scary to think about.

If this is Jimbo's idea its genius. But most likely he's being told to do this. These shotgun wedding tend to not end well. We had our own with Nutt and Gus.

Petrino has to perfect offense in practice would lead to defense not being emphasized.
Nothing has shown us Jimbo will give up control. IMO he would rather have the buyout and move on to another school like WVU than not have a role in calling plays.

I don’t know if those 5 star prima donnas are going to like having their asses chewed out at every missed step in practice. Talk about an overload of egos on one team, coaches and players combined. It might cause a change in the climate down there in that crap hole.

6 teams on his schedule were about to stop his offense, 5 we're not this year.

As a play caller? Yes. His team of undersized under valued less talented performers beat our defense up and down the field.
As a person? No. I think he is an a-hole that most people can’t/won’t get along with.
As a head coach? No because I don’t think he will ever have people under him that challenge him enough, and he will never emphasize recruiting in the way it needs to be.
