Auburn should go after Beamer

He would be a solid hire and it would launch his career. Also his lineage will help with boosters!

He has already launched his career moron. Beamer's ethics are too strong for Auburn so he would be a bad fit.

I mean, I guess Auburn can try and pull Frank out of retirement. Dunno how much gas he has in the tank, but, desperate times and all.

Yall think Beamer is on Cadillac's level?

He's not going to leave SC for Auburn, let's just be honest.

Watch this and tell me how Shane Beamer leaves for anywhere else...

Never happen. Shane is like his dad. Can't imagine him going anywhere else except maybe Blacksburg, and I would even doubt that at this point. Auburn could back the Brinks truck and I still say he stays because USCe would give him enough of a raise to keep him loyal.
I say Auburn wouldn't even try that though.

Auburn has their man. Sit tight.

Why would Beamer make a lateral move from SC to Auburn? SC is his dream job.

I’m sure OP has Auburn’s best interest at heart.

That’s a bit of in the moment emotion. If a blue blood came calling, he would listen. Spurrier couldn’t get a trophy at USC, Beamer can’t either. I like USC and Beamer both.
Btw Auburn is not a blue blood. Auburn is a wanna be. Too many jocksniffer boosters want too much say.

No. Remember Beamer coached here before under Spurrier. He got the job because he came in with a long term plan to build the program. This really is his dream job. And he learned the power of loyalty from his dad.
Furthermore, USC has all the resources he needs to build the program he wants. Auburn would be a lateral move. The only thing we lack is history. And even then, it was only ten years ago when we were winning 11 games a year under Spurrier.

After 119 years of gamecock football, don't you think SC fans have already come to that realization? Truth be told, only 42 teams have ever won a national championship. That leaves 80 something that haven't. Trophies aren't everything.

The guy has heart. He is South Carolina's Cadillac.

I bet Bama has their eye on Beamer.

Beamer's a good coach. Would have been near the top of my list if Kiffin had jumped.
