28 would have won the game against A&M, Liberty, and LSU. Puts us at 10-3
Yep, he scored exactly 28 points in every single game. Never less.

so the game kj was hurt, the game he didn’t play, and the game where he cost us by fumbling at the 1 and giving up a 99 yard return? Yeah let’s blame briles btw don’t hate the enos hire but you saying briles offense didn’t work is just flat out wrong
There’s no coach as good as our new one and none as bad as our last one

so you hate the Enos hire, but you also hated Briles since you came crashing into my thread defending Briles

so since you've watched all the Star Wars movies and you're a space force fan, no offensive coordinator is good enough for you...

Yes, those games.

The game where we had to play the backup QB versus the other teams third stringer. The team that had less talent compared to us, than we have compared to Alabama or Georgia.

The game where KJ went Superman in the second or third quarter costing us a 14 point swing, against the most pitiful excuse for a Texas A&M team, maybe ever.

The game where LSU pretty much couldn’t score on our defense, but our badass offense couldn’t score on them either. Those games.

Well we just aren’t going to agree because I feel like there were enough things outside briles control that happened during those games that affected the outcomes in ways not reflective of his offensive play calling ability and you feel those losses should still be laid at his feet, even with the other variables. Doesn’t matter now let’s go Dan!

Liberty is absolutely at Briles’ feet, as well as Pittman’s for not having the team focused. But the offensive showing was terrible. For reference, here's our drive chart for that game:

Punt
Punt
Punt
Punt
Turnover on downs
Punt
Interception
Field goal
[end of half]
Punt
Turnover on downs
Interception
Touchdown
Touchdown
[end of game]

8 drives in the first half that netted 3 points. In total we had 13 drives in the game, of which we had 6 punts, 2 turnovers on downs, and 2 interceptions.

To quote Ron Burgundy — “I’m not even mad, I’m impressed.”

That’s not an official graphic. The guy said he was just doing something on his own.

Ah my bad, carry on. It's a solid graphic and setup just was a really odd theme and tagline i felt. But great graphic work.

My thoughts on the Liberty game is that there’s plenty of blame to go around. The offensive line was horrible. 10+ TFL against a team of that caliber is a fireable offense by itself imo. Briles not having a reliable backup is a problem I agree and some of the blame is on him, but there were multiple plays where we just didn’t execute like when the ball bounced off Knox chest in the end zone and turned into an interception, and our defense giving up multiple tds to Libertys 3rd string qb. Briles should get his share of the blame but it wasn’t all on him. That was a team effort shite show

There were a few games where the primary issue was effort. Don't know what was going on but it was pretty apparent that the team didn't show up mentally.

The lack of effort was shown in the first half of Missouri State game.

Another in the Liberty game.

Played scared against Bama.

Didn't look inspired at all against Missouri.

Mental collapse in the A&M game.

Mental collapse in the A&M game. agree with all of this and I don’t think any of it was briles fault. If it was he’d have been out the door the day after Missouri the same way the S&C coach was. I think we had some cancers in the locker room that affected the entire season.

But you discount or dismiss all evidence pointing to an anemic offense.

Someone else posted that we scored twice on opening drives all season.

I went through all our games, and posted that we scored less than a touchdown in 19 quarters this year. That’s a full 4-3/4 games with not touchdowns added together, over who knows how many possessions.

Our red zone offense was pitiful all season, and never improved one bit.

Tight ends have been under utilized since Briles was hired.

The O-line has underperformed, but did we make lemonade out of those lemons by developing an effective screen game that might have kept defenders from pinning their ears back? Nope.

We used KJ as a battering ram against defenses pretty much since Briles has been here. Did he have the foresight to see that at some point KJ is going to break down from that and make it a priority to have a backup that could run the offense? Nope.

It can just go on and on. And yes, Pittman is ultimately responsible as the HC, but all of this falls squarely in Briles lap.
