So, the conferences that the SEC has pretty much brutally dominated for the last 25 years?
Well if they suck so bad, Enos should have dominated them. He's been in the Big 10 for 2 years and got fired after 1 year in the ACC.

I get it. You just pointed out that he's not done too well in inferior conferences.

No, I just pointed out that the Briles offense you want to crow about was done in and against inferior conferences. Maryland set several records this year. But do you baw.

Maryland set records? Not for scoring or rushing.

I don’t get your hatred for briles. Are you just someone who’s 65+ years old that doesn’t understand modern football? The crazy thing is enos offense will look more similar to what briles has been doing than anything he did himself when he was here with the Allen brothers, so if your jizzing your pants waiting on kj to lineup under center and rocket to dot the I I’ve got some bad news for you.

Courtesy of UltimateHog in another thread. There’s more, like Maryland languishing at 9-11 in offense for years, to 4th in their conference, but I don’t think facts matter that much to you. Sounds like they need a few Briles fans at TCU from some of the threads I’ve seen. Might want to check it out.

At Maryland, Enos has guided a powerful offense led by star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa. In his first year, Maryland set single-season program records for total yards (5,740), passing yards (3,960), completions (339) and completion percentage (69.3%) in 2021. This year, they ranked fifth in the Big Ten in points per game (28.2) and fourth in yards per game (401.2) fourth in offensive efficiency (141.5). Also Maryland's quarterbacks coach, Enos has tutored Tagovailoa, who set seven single-season Maryland records in 2021, including passing yards (3,860), completions (328), completion percentage (69.2) and passing touchdowns (26). Enos has also been a piece of Maryland's strong recruiting efforts during the past two seasons.

Modern football, for the second or third time from you. Do you really want another explanation from me? I don’t hate Briles, or any particular offense. I wouldn’t give a shite if we didn’t have a running back on the roster, and threw every play. If it works and win games, I don’t care what we run. Briles offense hasn’t worked well. We are maddeningly predictable in our play calls. We can’t run the ball when we have to. We can’t pass the ball when we have to. We turn to fetid dogshit when our one and only QB can’t go. I can continue, but why?

28 ppg and 400 ypg seem hardly noteworthy

I’m betting Maryland finds it pretty noteworthy since they apparently haven’t sniffed that kind of production in years without Enos.

It's not a school record. They had 32 ppg in 2010.

So let’s ignore the records for total yards, passing yards, completions, etc. and the 7 single season records the QB set. Gotcha.

That'll be great when you can trade those in for points.

28 would have won the game against A&M, Liberty, and LSU. Puts us at 10-3.

He legitimately asked why he couldn't average 40 ppg as if that's some kind of knock. Just give it up.

They weren’t in the Big 10 in 2010.

so the game kj was hurt, the game he didn’t play, and the game where he cost us by fumbling at the 1 and giving up a 99 yard return? Yeah let’s blame briles btw don’t hate the enos hire but you saying briles offense didn’t work is just flat out wrong

I look at BYU and Liberty Bowl and Ole Miss and see what the future could have been.

But, whatever man, he is gone now... Enos Envy time!

No. The point is that Briles has had 3 different teams at different schools that averaged over 40 ppg.

Enos has had over 30 ppg twice and gotten fired once.

But no, they're exactly the same.
