But you discount or dismiss all evidence pointing to an anemic offense.

You can criticize parts of the offense sure but calling it anemic is ridiculous

Pretty ridiculous to not be able to punch it in from inside the 5 on multiple occasions. Pretty ridiculous to be so predictable that defenses stopped you all year in critical situations. Pretty ridiculous to batter your one and only QB until he can’t go.

We were always going to lose to Georgia. I don’t know if we will ever beat Alabama while Saban is there. But the A&M, LSU, and Liberty games were all 3 among our best games of the season for a struggling defense, and the offense shite the bed in each one. Anemic.

As I said before we will agree to disagree. We just don’t see the game the same way.

I can agree to disagree, no problem. But the issue is not that we don’t see the game the same way. One of us sees it, the other don’t. If you can’t objectively see that the offense pissed away those games, there’s something preventing you from seeing it, or your affection for Briles won’t allow you to see it.

The defense gave up 16 or something to A&M. The defense gave up 13 to LSU. They gave up a bunch to Liberty in the first half, but held them to a field goal in the second half, after being on the field the entire first half, and you know why.

Our offense was unable to overcome any of that. Just the objective truth.

I’ve said in numerous threads I think our offense was not as good as it should have been. I’ve discussed how we were not good in short yardage. I think our offensive line was bad and I guess Pittman puts it on the S&C coach but I thought the Oline coach should’ve been fired. Even though the offense struggled at times it was more about player execution than play calling. I don’t see how much of that is briles fault.

Whose job is it to make sure that the players execute efficiently and effectively every single play, if not Briles? If you have guys that execute in practice but not games, you let them sit and think about it while their backup plays. Right?

their position coach. Contrary to popular belief there’s a lot of shite put on those guys shoulders

I do remember the days when we used to complain that Bielema teams couldn’t punch it in from inside the 5. Multiple failures against A&M come to mind. Wasn’t there a year where we got stopped 7 straight times on goal to go due to a penalty giving us a first down in there?

Enos and Pittman only worked together one year in 2015. Brandon Allen's senior year. We had the most efficient offense in the country that year.

btw, Jeffcoat is actually a real possibility. If he can get cleared. rumor is something happened in 2019 that USC will not allow him to enter school about.

Not sure what, a do not want to speculate any more.

Hope it works out, dude is nails!

Well then Enos for Briles is a wash, at worst.

Anyone else is better because he didn’t want to be here, as evidenced by lifting his skirt to MS State, TCU, and who knows else. Enos is better because when you objectively examine the job Briles did, he wasn’t that hot.

Thankfully we can do better than him, and anyone who doesn’t want to be here, right?

They why do all of the teams come calling? You may not value him but 3-5 teams do every year

My point is that there are certainly worse people than briles who want to be here.

Nothing I've seen from briles indicates he doesn't want to be here. He got an opportunity to return to Texas and work with family friends. Even if you want to be here that's hard to pass up. Unless we're only gonna hire people who are life long razorback.

Take my career in IT. I currently work at a great company who I'm not really interested in leaving. I still listen to ovations from recruiters that interest me or demonstrate where i can make more money. It doesn't mean i don't wanna work at my current company it just means it's a competitive job market and i need to stay on top of what I'm worth and what opportunities i have in it.
