There will be injuries

As I said on the rant. It wouldn’t be an iron bowl in Tuscaloosa if there wasn’t rain before, during, or after the game. Seems like AU gets the good weather every iron bowl

So how does it affect the team? We are predominantly a passing offense and auburn is predominantly a running offense. Bad weather should favor the running team.

Just checked the weather and though there is a 80% of rain predicted total rainfall isn't even 3/4" of an inch.

James Spann's 5:00 weather forecast tonight looked a little more favorable -- rain shouldn't come in until 6:00 p.m. or so. Fingers crossed!!

Used to be that way, but I think the last dreary Iron Bowl weather in Tuscaloosa was back in 2008

Of course. The stars are trying to align for another miracle win for AU.

Because there will be some rain?
I'm excited for our players, playing football in the rain is fun as hell. It's not going to be too cold either.

Because we'll be the only ones affected by it seeing as how they're a running team while we're passing. Plus Auburn voodoo of course. And seeing as how this game has so much frickery involved, watch us be the only team that can't hold onto the ball due to the weather.
Anything the football gods can do to equalize the playing field in this game, seems like they always do it.

Well I’m talking rain before and after too. 2010 was dreary all game. 2012 was perfect weather. 2014 was ok but cold. 2016 was nice. 2018 poured before the game and had to get helicopters to dry the field before the game. 2020 was kind of dreary. I’m just saying comparatively to auburn I don’t remember a lot of iron bowls where it was nice outside during the tailgating. Not saying I need it or that it really matters, just find it interesting
