OM fans, besides Judkins What other players will Lane take with him to Auburn? Are you concerned about the recruiting class and ability to sign anyone out of the portal after losing your coach in late November? Seems like a tough situation.

Are you sure Justin’s leaves before Ole Miss announces a hire ? My guess is he is going to
leave for the NFL early and has a healthy NIL
package at Ole Miss. Lane has been offered
10 w incentives, Ole Miss can make a solid hire
at that price.

Most of our playmakers already transferred once so you won’t get much

Hard to keep up with the rules. Is a guy like Dart who already transferred eligible to transfer again without sitting out a year?

In all seriousness it’s going to be mostly freshmen and sophomores that will be the candidates I think. Judkins is the big one. CB igbonosin would be a candidate. Wouldn’t shock me if he tried to bring QB altmyer with him who lost the job to dart but he really likes. Zxavian Harris is a freshman dl who may be an option but he hasn’t done much yet. Gotta think freshman OT pettus is a serious candidate. Been one of our starting tackles this year and he’s from Madison AL. Jayden Williams the other starting freshman tackle is a candidate I would think. Cedrick Johnson is a junior defensive lineman from mobile and is our best DL. Maybe he is interested in playing his senior year there? There may be others but really no one that’s done anything yet. I’d say that’s pretty much the list.

Have to think Evans and Heath head to the NFL ranks, right?

Evans yes but he hasn’t raised his stock at all like he was trying to do. Heath who knows.

Have to think it’s the portal that is the real challenge for OM. Will be interesting to see how quickly you can find a new coach to salvage the mess.

Nah he would have to sit out a year if he transferred. Good for us, unfortunate for him.

I don't think it'll be the mass exodus Auburn expects. I think the antics around this hire will rub a lot of kids the wrong way. Just my feeling

Well considering Ole Miss was playing more transfers than anyone this year, hard to see many guys leaving.

I don't think that is the case Henry. Did I miss a rule change?

Athletes are allowed to transfer one time and play right away; if they do it a second time, they need a waiver to do so.

If the coach leaves for another school the NCAA would probably allow a player to transfer a 2nd time.

Deuce McAllister, Patrick Willis, Eli Manning, and Wesley Walls all following Lane to Auburn.

Ok, I looked that up. It appears to not be right.

We had a WR transfer from us to Ms St named Tyrell Shavers. He left Ms St and went to San Diego State and played immediately.

not unless we release him(if that's still a thing) or the NCAA grants him a waiver.

Bama to MSU as a Grad transfer(that's a free transfer)
MSU to SDSU for the 1-time rule
