HOW THE TRANSFER WAIVER PROCESS WORKS

Transfer Waiver Process
NCAA Division I Committee for Legislative Relief
A waiver is needed when a student-athlete wants to transfer
from one four-year school to another and does not satisfy a transfer exception.
Here is a look at how the process works and the options available at each step.

A school submits a 4-4 transfer waiver
when documented circumstances outside the student-
athlete’s control
necessitate his/her transfer.

A school must demonstrate that the student-athlete’s
transfer is linked to documented mitigating circumstances outside the student-athlete’s control.

The Auburn melt is going to be epic when they get turned down Kiffin. A coach known for switching schools is going to stay in Oxford rather than deal with that mess at Auburn and I do not blame him at all.

Wouldn’t shock me if he tried to bring QB altmyer with him who lost the job to dart but he really likes.
He would be practically guaranteed the starting job at AU in 2023.

Because all of our other QBs are hot garbage (other than Geriner, who will redshirt this year and possibly hit the portal himself)

It really is a lot healthier if you go ahead and move forward in the grief process to acceptance now.

Altmyer is a solid QB with a lot of potential. Dart just felt like he had a much higher ceiling.

Honestly there never really was a grief process. Literally everyone knew this was inevitable.

The process goes from Denial to Acceptance.

You think a guy named “go ta hell ole miss” is an Ole Miss fan? Interesting

Also, what kind of answers are you looking for in this thread? Real ones, or bitter deflections? Something else?

there's a very solid argument that agreeing to play for a guy who is known to job-hop falls inside the student-athlete's control.

I’m assuming that’s a State fan, with Lane at Auburn they better enjoy the useless W they narrowly clung to this year. They are just bitter about their AD still.

Gotta think freshman OT pettus is a serious candidate. Been one of our starting tackles this year and he’s from Madison AL. Jayden Williams the other starting freshman tackle is a candidate I would think.

If you have starting freshmen Olinemen and we take Kiffin they are 100% coming with solid NIL deals...

We have no OLine

don't think it'll be the mass exodus Auburn expects.

I don’t think most from Auburn believe there would be a big exodus of players should Kiffin come to AU.

I'm being totally honest. I had totally forgotten that the Houston area drama queen recruit finally landed with Ole Miss..

A very Cam Aker-esque career that didn't come anywhere close to the hype.

I could not care less if Kiffin stays in Oxford or goes to the mess in Auburn. Auburn doesn’t have a lot of other options, though.

Luckily half our roster were transfers. More concerned about the high school group.

LSU fan, but even I can recognize Oxford is a much better place than Auburn right now. I am enjoying the win over Auburn, too, though. Your AD is going to end up being a bad hire, too. Cohen was not even loved by his alma mater. He will be gone in four year or less at Auburn.
