I remember him saying he would win the Heisman as a freshman. I am sure he has learned a lot since the time he thought he knew it all. Good luck young man

If Trey is healthy I fail to see why he didn't get playing time. I think he's as good as the other backs except for Gibbs but I am no coach.

Nothing against Trey but I don’t think he’s anywhere close to Jace or Roydell. Last year when he had his chance to be the #2 back, he wasn’t able to handle it.

I just don't think his body is the same as it was before his accident. I'm not saying he's still injured I just mean after something like that you never get 100% function back.

I wholeheartedly agree. He went through some pretty significant injuries.

Trey had taken the number 2 RB spot from B-Rob in 2020 before his car wreck.
Najee Harris was the only reason Trey didn't start in 2020.
The car wreck changed the course of his career, sadly.
He worked his arse off to even be able to play football again. I hope he does great wherever he decides to go.

Good for him. I hope he goes to a small school where he can start. His burst was completely nonexistent after the car wreck.

I doubt Simpson leaves of he has to sit another year! Unless something amazing happens, next year could really be the most disappointing season in years

Getting a competent OC would be amazing.
If we don’t make the playoffs, it will be very difficult for us to have a more disappointing season than this year.
