Florida withdrew the scholarship of committed 2023 quarterback Marcus Stokes on Sunday after a controversial video of Stokes stating a racial slur surfaced via social media on Friday.
In the video, Stokes can be seen in a car and heard saying "welcome back," followed by the slur.

If it’s that offensive then they should pull scholarships of all players who listen to those songs. After all, silence is violence.

Leaves me SMH.
Not defending him (though he really did not do anything wrong) but to lose a scholarship over this is just ridiculous.

Ironically a quick Google search tells me this kid is doing everything possible to join the Black culture, if anything his offense is that he's trying too hard.
