I’d have to agree with you. Freeze makes more sense to me but it’s not my money (because all mine goes to Auburn tuition!)

This is Jimmy Sexton’s fault and guys like him. They’ve been resetting the market for 2 decades. It was going to happen, if not at A&M, then somewhere else. ADs are so terrified to lose the coaches they have or scared to get outbid for the coach they want that they’ll pay whatever Jimmy says his clients want. It’s madness but there’s so much money in the sport now and with that comes a whole lot more pressure to win than there used to be
