Would TCU have won at LSU, at UGA and home against Bama
Probably lose all three

Disagree, TCU should be top four if it goes undefeated.

Meh...TCU has won all of the games on their schedule. If they go undefeated and win the Big-12, they should be in the mix. If they lose, they should drop out.

TCU is a 7 point underdog this weekend. Let’s just see how it plays out. I doubt they will remain unbeaten but I suppose if they do, they deserve it.

I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that TCU will need to go 13-0 to get in. Otherwise, some absolute chaos will need to ensue.
The only way they get in at 12-1 is if they lose to either Baylor or Texas, then beat that exact same team in the Big 12 championship game (much like OU in 2018), and a bunch of teams losing.
Even in that scenario, a 1-loss USC/Oregon/UCLA, 1-loss Michigan/Ohio St (assuming one were to lose before playing the other, then beating the other, then winning the B1G title game), 1-loss Tennessee, 1-loss Ole Miss (if they were to win the SEC against all odds) and 1-loss Georgia (assuming they were to lose the SEC CG) would all likely be ahead of them. They'll need more losses from that group

TCU is going to lose. Tennessee will probably end up at #3 when it’s all said and done and a 1 loss PAC 12 winner will get #4, presumably Oregon.

I don't think TCU would have had to go to OT to win @ Pitt with a back up QB.

TCU is in the #4 slot temporarily. They will lose at least one game, and likely two games. But if against all odds they do win out then they will deserve their playoff spot.

Oregon should be in front of Tennessee. I would rather play UT again waaaaaay before playing Oregon again

Tcu, Michigan, Ohio state, and Oregon are all vying for the opportunity to get the shite beat out of them on National television.

Oregon and LSU are undoubtably the most improved teams from Week 1.
The downfield blocking by the LSU WRs on that last TD against Alabama shows a much more disciplined team than Week 1. BK has been easy to make fun of, but he has LSU playing some great ball.

True bro! Honestly the playoffs should just be 4 sec teams every year. We all know they are better than any team in any conference.

It don’t t matter. TCU will lose then weekend and it’s all work out. But UT is 3-1 against teams in the CFP top 25, and 2-1 against the CFP top 10. It’s obvious we have the better resume than TCU, Michigan and Ohio State. UT will end up at #3 if they win out.

Luckily no one cares what you think. In the real world, UT's one-loss resume is much more impressive than Oregon's.

I'd rather end 4th, so we get UG in Atlanta in the semifinal. But yeah, it looks like 3rd is more probable.

Lol, triggered much.
We all know what is going to happen. I am not saying they do not deserve a shot. But I mean watching Georgia destroy the best Michigan team in the last two decades was not exactly must see tv.

You can only play the schedule you have to start the year. So far, they're perfect with theirs.

Neither would they lay half a hundred plus on MUH BESTEST DEFENSE.
p.s. They had their starting quarterback. We slapped him around, much like we slapped Bryce around.

And their schedule sucks. Not worthy of consideration for a title. Slippery Cock is undefeated too. Why arent they in the discussion?

Someone needs to dig out discussions of when BYU won the National Championship for being undefeated playing weak teams.
Remember why the BCS emerged from that situation. Come on, guys, I can't be the only one who remembers.
