Yes it wouldn't taste as good without some salt and of course butter but sometimes I had some sugar.
I use a lot for cocktail weenies in a crackpot.

Since you live in Misery you probably haven't had the chance to taste real live-boiled mudbugs - made the right way.
Given your account name you're familiar with KC? Then you should come to the KC Crawfish Festival in the spring.
It's put on by The Secret Order of the Crawdaddies - started by some genuwine Louisiana folk that bring up a TON of live crawfish and boil them on site. It's been going strong for around 20 years, and it's primarily a charity event that draws a LOT of LSU alums, fans and expat cajuns every year.
One entry fee gets you all the crawfish you can eat and all the beer you can drink. They also have live music (this year it was a Zydeco band from south louisiana).
As someone born and raised in Baton Rouge, I can vouch that they cook up a mean pot of mudbugs.

Meh, its ok but not superior. I've had more Tx, KC, Al, TN, etc. BBQ than I can remember nd have only been truly impressed once or twice.
