Will you support the next coach regardless of how you have them ranked in your own personal list/choice?
I will. Granted that doesn't mean some coach making between 5-10 million dollars are above bitching and complaining.
But 90 percent of this board has bitched and complained about the PTB interfering with the football coach. I say if the fans are turned off because it's not who they want after it appears we have some alignment in the President, AD, and booster that I don't want the fans to frick it up either.

I supported harsin till the Penn St game if that tells you anything.

I knew that Harsin was a bad hire from day one. Because I want what is best for Auburn I could not support that decsion. I continued to watch games, make my financial donations to the program, and pray for the team and university but I harbored no illusions about what was going to happen. If the next hire is awful, I will do the same.

No. Would not support Hugh Freeze at all.
His 'mistakes' aren't even mistakes to him, and he was far too old to be making them.
I have seen far too many people I know personally hide behind their christianity as justification to do whatever the hell they want. Its legitimately sick. Its an incredibly poor representation if what Christianity is supposed to be.

I'm not trying to defend Freeze at all but you do realize Christians are sinners as well just like non Christians, correct?
As a Christian you hope the Holy Spirit guides you to make righteous decisions but doesn't completely do away with sin. Big misconception of what it means to be a Christian. Plus in God's view sin is sin regardless if it is murder or a lie. Sin in the origin is a archery term meaning "missed the mark". So anytime you miss the mark you sinned.
Christianity also believes in forgiveness through repentance. So if he has asked for forgiveness and has turned away from that sin who am I to judge his righteousness in the eyes of God.
Anyway like I said it's no defense of what Freeze did and Freeze personally is down my list.
So AUjim are you Christian or just a Christian hater because it comes across as you are either a i'm better then you Christian or you don't full understand what the Christian redemption story is.

I have always supported the head coach until they proved they couldn't do the job.

Agreed. And honestly Harsin is the first coach I've ever turned against in my entire Auburn Fandom. I even supported Tot until the day he quit but I could definitely see the talent level dropping.

Exactly. His blood is our salvation. Sorry if any of you are non believers.

As long as its not Urban Meyer.

As I believe I’ve made abundantly clear, Freezus is the only HC I would fail to support.
And it has little to do with his Christianity, or his sincerity. It has to do with his judgement and discernment, or lack of same.
I liked the Harsin hire, because I thought he had done a good job maintaining BSU, and would bring some fresh thinking to the job. I ignored what were some obvious red flags along the way. It appears my optimism was wishful thinking.

We were all wrong about Harsin. Some started seeing the red flags way before others. There were a few that wasn't sure of the cultural fit but all thought he was a good coach.
We were wrong, he was a complete a-hole, horrible leader, lazy, excuse maker, and now doesn't appear to be even a good coach.

So you admit poor judgement here, but you’ll take a hard stance on another guy you don’t agree with. Maybe give him a shot.

Not sure which coach would be the best hire.
I don't see AU football being good for a while.

Its fine that some of you are willing to completely take scripture out of context and reference some bastardized version of your perception of the 'redemption story' to justify blind support of your Saturday idols. I'm just not one of them.

You must be perfectly perfect in every way. Congrats on winning that virtue signaling trophy.
