Which stadium was louder? Both were obviously incredible atmospheres with dramatic finishes and the best home crowds I’ve seen all year. I’ve been to more LSU games than I can count but last night was probably the loudest I’ve ever heard Tiger Stadium IMO.

Holly Rowe said LSU was at like 108 on the sound level.

Tennessee was at 103 from what I’ve seen. I think LSU was clearly louder

TS is the only stadium that causes earthquakes.

Probably very comparable. Wouldn’t be surprised either way. LSU hitting 108 shows what BS some of these readings that are 20-30 decibels higher really are.

I was at the UT- UK game last week. Decibel level hit 118 during that game. Bama game it hit 125.

Sanford was reportedly 127 for our game with Tennessee.

the 108 and 103 is probably the average sound db level for each game.

Good God
Here’s a question that’s just as relevant. “Who’s faster, Batman or Mighty Mouse?”

Once the decibels hit a certain level, your ears can’t tell the difference.

Batman doesn’t really have any powers. Mighty Mouse wins.

There is also "a" weighting and "c" weighting when measuring sound pressure level (spl). A weighting doesn't measure frequencies below 500 hz.
