Interesting take. Claims he has been out coached many times but the talent disparity he maintains leads to his victories. Also said the coaching in the SWAC is very pedestrian so to get out coached at that level is very concerning. Thinks he would be ok at FSU but the lack of coaching ability would catch up to him. Thinks he would get exposed at Auburn in a major way. Talent everywhere and competing against great coaches.

I would like to know the order of priority that the new search will be looking at and where coaching ability lands on that list.

You have to join the SECRant Auburn Premium Board for that information. Invite Only.

Ask yourself, how many of his articles have you seen posted here? None. Now he talks that shite about Deion and boom, exposure.
Deion may fail, but I doubt it. He has succeeded everywhere he has gone. Winners win.

The one thing that if he comes to AU is to drop that Air Raid offense. I wouldn't like to have it here as it is so hard to do right or everyone would be doing it. I think he can recruit. He does have a couple of guys that are premium but they are freshmen and one that plays both ways was out a couple of games this year.

Your insistence on pooh pooh'ing anything Prime is old.
All coaches have flaws. The ones that can recognize those flaws and work around them are the best coaches.
A .905 winning percentage seems to indicate he understand that. If he knows he needs more talent then another team then go get more talent then other teams. It has never stopped Saban.
One other thing I like about Prime is his confidence as well. He won't be on the sideline sweating a 4th and 2 regardless on offense or defense. He's driven but not scared of failure. To many coaches coach scared. I see that similarity in Prime and Kiffin

On a level playing field Saban never outcoached anybody. Ask the AFC East

He may have good points. Who knows, but I would like to see a list of all his head coach recommendations and see his hit/miss ratio. Who has hired this guy as a coach scout?
Read his bio and he recommended Saban, who he had worked with, to LSU. Pretty, pretty good. I don’t see any other coaching recs before he went into media, only player scouting stuff.

Exactly.
This cannot be stated enough and is exactly what kept us not only from winning the Natty against FSU but also running with that momentum and sustaining it. We were so close to being what Clemson ended up being.

We've won 2 state championships on steals of home in the bottom of the 7th with the game tied. First championship the pitcher balked when our runner took off after coming set. The second championship the pitcher was a lefty and never knew the runner took off and our runner beat the throw and the tag to home.
I wasn't scared to make risky calls like that. When I was younger I always coached it safe. We would always be really good but to be great you have to come out of your comfort area and take some calculated chances. If those chances fail they fail. I'm trying to win the game

Jermaine Whitehead should have been kicked off the team earlier in the year. Instead he gives that up.

quote:You really need to read your qoute above, A FEW TIMES, then go check out the records of his opponents. IF Sanders could gather EQUAL talent as ALA, LSU, and UGA, he would still be at a serious disadvantage based on his almost zero coaching experience. Here's a little homework for you. Of the games JSU has played this year, how many opponents have a record above .500?
A .905 winning percentage seems to indicate he understand that. If he knows he needs more talent then another team then go get more talent then other teams. It has never stopped Saban.

Here's the facts and evidence, no emotion, no subjective shite like "I think he will ......., bullshite.
1. Deion Sanders was the OC of a high school team, just two years ago.
2. He has never coached at an FBS school.
3. He has signed two players, in his two years at JSU, that rate at 4* or higher.
4. The conference that JSU is in, is horrible. Being the conference champ is the equivalent of being the tallest midget.
5. The FCS Coaches Poll has a two loss team ranked higher than JSU, and several one loss teams.
6. Sanders is 55 years old. He started coaching in 2012 at a high school he founded. It was closed under scandal. If you can't do the math, the totality of his coaching experience is 10 years. The guys he will be competing against are at the TOP of their profession. This is like a golden gloves boxer getting into the ring with Ali or Tyson in their prime.
We just fired a Mountain West coach with a pretty good resume, who turned out to be a complete failure at this level, and you want Auburn to take another risk and double-down on a coach from a SWAC school, who has only been doing this shite for two years! This is the theater of the absurd. There is nothing in his coaching record that remotely suggests that he is ready for a jump of this magnitude. Nothing.

quote:I'll counter you, and place the blame on Parkey NOT kicking the kickoff out of the endzone after our last score. Something he did every game, all year long. The subsequent long return was the first domino to fall and set up everything else.

Special teams, after being a strength all year, let us down in the NC game. I remember watching the fake punt, and I called it being a fake welllllll before it was snapped.
I also blame the dude who was at Bodega that night who kept chanting "SEC SEC SEC".
