Every initial #1 team has made the playoffs except MSU in 2014
Only initial #1’s to win the title are Alabama 20 and UGA 21. Only Alabama ( in a shortened season) entered the playoffs as #1, UGA entered as #3.
Only play off number 1’s to win the Playoffs are LSU 19 and Bama 20.
Titles by seed:
#1 - 19 & 20
#2 - 15, 16, & 18
#3 - 21
#4 - 15 & 17
