Auburn is going to make a great hire this time, Rant. Get over it.

As a Bama fan I would love to see the barn get another head scratching hire but it’s not going to happen. Yellawood footed the bill to get rid of Greene and Harsin and he will pay/raise the money to get a big name. He’s a 76 year old billionaire who loves football. He wants to see them competitive again before he dies.

I am not an Auburn fan. No one wants them to mess up again more than me.

I have been following AU athletics for very long time - the only "Great Hire" (at the time of the hire) I can ever think of with Auburn athletics was Bruce Pearl..

I am not holding my breath

Auburn is going to get who the boosters tell them to get and that is someone that the boosters can totally control.

Good luck, Aubie. Dark days on the plains are ahead.

Everyone said the same thing about Bama before Mal was told to give Saban whatever he wants.

You also said LSU would be lucky to be 6-6 this year.

You just aren't very smart, get over it.

That was pre-NIL. This is a totally different ballgame.

If you don’t think Pat Dye and Tuberville were great hires for Auburn your bar is too high. I’m not claiming you will steal Ryan Day away from Ohio St or anything like that.

The Ole Miss win was impressive. Y’all will still lose your final 3 SEC games and finish with 7 wins. My prediction won’t be far off on December 1st.

I’m not really sure how NIL would’ve changed the Saban hire.

Tuberville could fall under that catagory, I agree...I debating saying that. At the time I am not sure I would have called Dye a "great hire" - but of course, those were different times

The boosters that brought in Pat Dye, took Tuberville from Ole Miss, brought in Malzahn? Those boosters?

You just aren't very smart, deal with it.

You also said Tennessee had a 0% chance to beat Alabama.

I had no idea the SEC would allow that kind of home cooking. Bama beats UcheaT by 2 TDs on a neutral field and 3 TDs at home.

You could barely beat shitty Aggie at home.
