Well, Arky’s secondary blows, and he’s the closest thing to a passing QB on our roster.
Why the hell not. If our OL can keep him from getting killed (a big if), it wouldn’t be a bad thing for him to get some more live game experience.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is only his 2nd appearance (Mizzou was first). He can play twice more (TAMU & WKU) and still take a redshirt, yes?

Ashford’s shoulder has been banged up some the past few weeks. Maybe something happened this week to make it a little worse? Who knows.

The move was probably inevitable but weird coming off by far the best QB’ed game we have had since Bo Nix got hurt last year

FWIW, in the pregame coverage, I could see Robby warming up.
He threw a pass 5 feet over the head of a receiver standing directly in front of him 20 yards away
