Joe Burrow was not dual threat.

Forgot about him. Great college QB.

Wasn't he your QB last year? Amazing.

Chad Kelly wasn't dual threat, per se, but he wasn't a statue either. He ran for 500 yards and 10 TDs in 2015, including a few designed carries against Bama on third down and a TD on a 4th and goal from the 1 or 2.

Don’t leave out Bo Wallace

Its true. That was generally the way to beat Bama BUT that was before Saban changed his offense which has the ability to keep up with those type teams should the defense struggle

He had wheels and was more elusive than he gets credit for.
Anyone who can do this against an NFL defense is a dual threat:
Big Burrow TD run

Did Bo Wallace beat him? I thought it was Chad Kelly both times.

That’s not what dual threat means.

Does Saban have more trouble defending elite quarterbacks than he does bad ones?!

Steven Garcia.
No Heisman candidate, of course, but you wouldn't have known it from the way he owned TF out of that game. Not afraid to tuck it and run.

Bo Wallace was QB1 in 2014 when OM beat Bama.

Stetson Bennett IV
He was listed as a Heisman candidate for all of 2 weeks.

Really, Stetson has started three times against Bama and lost two of the three.

At this point, I don't even understand why the average Tennessee fan wants this to happen.
Ask LSU fans.
how many more years will they go on stating the destruction of their program was worth it to have the memory of 2019.
How about AU. Still paying coaches because a couple beat Saban.
Finally, the A&M Aggies. Made Johnny football, Kevin Sumlin and now Jimbo rich to win 2 out of 11 contests.
UT would be next. Hooker moves on and so does the coach... to Oklahoma. And Tennessee's fans are left hoping for Joey Freshwater's sloppy seconds.
