We may not have all those 5 stars, but we coach up what we do have.

They play so hard. You can tell they like playing for Leach and Arnett.

OP had to bump twice for attention.

Its Kentucky. On defense, Mark Stoops would rather eat a turd than rush more than the down three or four at the snap. And he absolutely hates playing tight DBs at the line, so the screen game is open, as is the slant.
On offense. That Rodriguez kid is a handful. And the line can block it well enough. But again, don't worry. Its not like they'll hand it off 30 times a game.
And Levis. Look, its like this. He wants to make a play. Just keep in mind, if the line can give him four seconds - he'll hold it for five.
So run your screen game on offense, your jet sweeps, and anything else that gets to the perimeter quick. Run your pulls, traps, counters, and all that stuff inside - because they're not going to blow any of that up with a blitz on a regular basis. If you want to go deep - do it off play action. But why would you ? There is so much low hanging fruit to be had from a Mark Stoops defense.
On defense ? Will Levis doesn't run anymore, so edge blitz him as much as you like. Keep it two deep, pick off a bomb or two. Against the run ? Take chances - because they won't stick with it anyway, no matter how much you give up.
I wouldn't waste any DLs time reading against Kentucky's offense. Pick a gap, and shoot it, all damn game.

MSU is great this year.
Question is will he be able to maintain once all these veteran players leave. Especially on defensive side of the ball. Will be interesting to see of Leach can maintain a quality defense. That's always been his downfall. That and rivalry week.
But as it stands MSU has everything they need to make a run at Atlanta this year, and maybe more, if they can avoid WTF losses late in the season.

Well, there is no question we will lose a lot after this season, thus look at the other guys getting experience. If Will Rogers takes off for a shot at the NFL then we will struggle next year.

I'm not nervous about anything. I'm enjoying the hell out of this season.

And you should. That puzzy schedule Ole Miss was famous for 30 years is why you are 6-0.

That's the way it goes unless you're Bama, UGA, or Obio State.
A&M had a lot of strong veteran players in 2020.
Arky and Ole Miss had them in 2021.
Looks like 2022 is MSU's year.
Honestly, I'd like to see MSU do what the rest of us couldn't and actually upset the status quo. Best of luck.

Leach knows the odd year stuff and will have a great year every other or every 3 years.

Are you a child? You can say it.
Also-Leach is 3-18 for in-state rivalry games. I feel alright about the Egg Bowl.

Do you though? Deep down you know
The rivalry thing on Leach is dumb. His rivals at TT and WSU were way better programs and OM the past 2 seasons was way better than State as Leach had to rebuild from scratch.
We are pretty even now I think.
