South Carolina.
He isn't making excuses for UGA's performance. Said last week we're not as good as people are saying and that it's absurd to say at this point that the team is better than last year's or the defense is as good as last year's.
Also said Kent State's QB would start for most of the bad SEC teams, including Auburn.

So he is dumb, is that the point of this thread?

He’s got to be about 80. Who cares.

Jim Donnan contributed to UGAs underachieving as much as any coach. He was just another coach that couldn't really handle the big stage.

Are people supposed to care what this creaky senile SOB says?

Sounds like the perfect replacement for Harsin . He’d still be an upgrade rover Bryan

Wrong. He left UGA better than he found it. Same can be said of Richt and will be said of Kirby.
We've been lucky that every hire was better than their predecessor. Three in a row. Not a lot of schools can say that. Can you?

Kent got steeled up to play Georgia tough by playing Washington and Oklahoma the two weeks prior. Add Georgia's complacency to the mix, and you get what you got last Saturday. The Dogs might not be as strong as last year, but the Kent game provided Kirby and staff a window on what needs to be shored up in the coming weeks. That being said, the defense especially, is not up to par with last year at this point. Can the kinks be worked out? With this staff, probably. I'm glad they've got a lot of cupcakes coming up before UT, UF, and MSU.
Donnan was a good coach, but he came along when Tennessee and Florida were at their apex. Georgia high schools were picked clean by Fullmer and BSing Bobby Bowden at FSU practically every year in the 90s.

That’s just dumb. UGA wasn’t motivated for a noon game that nobody cared about playing. But instead of just acknowledging that the UGA apologist has to pretend Kent St somehow is good now. Insane.

Good teams have bad games, simple as that. Hopefully they limit those mistakes and we will be fine.

As the media and some fans thought?
I'd say that's correct. Again, same guy said "Pump the brakes" before we played Kent.
I think some here are looking for things. I was just posting it because I found it funny.
But I mean really, how good are you if you beat a team that's better than those three by 17? Don't really see how we're protecting the brand here.
But you know, building up a team that got beat by Texas Tech. That's cool, cause TT is good.
