The truth about Kent State

People think Richard Nixon ordered troops to shoot up a bunch of peace-loving hippies making daisy chains on the quad at Kent State.
In reality, Nixon had nothing to do with it. The Ohio governor and the mayor of the city of Kent called in the Ohio National Guard after three days of rioting by what would today be described as Antifa. They destroyed storefronts, burned cars, and burned down the ROTC building on campus.
On May 4th , the fateful saturday, they were at it again. But this time they were ordered to disperse. They did not. Some tear gas was fired. The crowd dispersed initially, but came back pissed off and rushed the guards. It was like Jan 6th I tell ya, so the guard fired off some warning shots into the air and into the ground, but some of those warning shots hit people hundreds of feet away.
None of the antifa mob was ever fired upon directly or intentionally.
One of the deceased was an adult antifa trouble-maker, the picture of his body won the Pulitzer prize, as his girlfriend cried, kneeling, over the corpse. She was a 14 year old runaway at the time.

The Kent St deal was pushed by Communist Ops who want to stall or kill Nixon’s decision to take the fight to the Communists Vietnam forces using Cambodia as a safe harbor.
Protestors were just tools/pawns in a much larger game. Communist are not our friends. Neither is China.

Being familiar with the federal gov I was waiting for them to start mowing down the Jan 6 rioters for attacking a federal building. It was really odd not seeing it happen, little did we know at the time that the president was in on it and had prevented them from responding the way they should have.

At Kent State, 4 unarmed people were killed by the Ohio National Guard who fired 67 shots in 13 seconds to do so.
They were told after the shooting that they needed to disperse or the national guard would shoot again.
This is a reminder that in domestic issues, the job of the executive branch (be it military or police) is to protect and serve, not to punish or kill. The judicial branch gets to do that. You arrest protesters that break the law, you don't fire live ammunition at them.

The National Guard followed the Rules of Engagement. Those protestors knew what they were doing and what they were getting into.

The feds probably didn't open fire because they were afraid they would hit one of their many, many trouble instigator plants (proven, btw) in the crowd.
Always, be weary of individuals trying to get you to do what you know is wrong. Walk away. BTW, where is Ray Epps?

Most have been Storm Troopers doing the shooting.
