For those who supported JT, and thought Kirby was wrong, in in picking Stet over JT, are you still sticking with your opinion after JT's performance at WVU?

Yes , Stetson has improved but there was nothing wrong with JT and the O scored more points with him in. I am impressed with Stet this year had he played at this level I'd be torn.

Always a no brained, I cut Stet slack because he got no real 1-4th team prep and made it happen pretty well.

I’m gona have to admit no. He’s not better. Not this year anyways. Stetson looked like a game manager last year. This year he’s different. More accurate passes too.

I blame Kirby for this thread

He's made us so smotheringly great that our message board fodder has been reduced to rehashing old debates from a season where we won a national title

There was more to it than that.

Not dredging up the past at all. Just watching JT play this season for WVU, I'm wondering if this is what Kirby saw and stuck with Stet.

I really do want the kid to succeed, and I really wanted to see him play last year.

No, Kirby saw that Stetson was consistent and injury free.

Stetson has elevated his play with Monken’s play calling. I could drop dimes out there we are so wide open

It's the way you phrased it. You're effectively starting the "who's better" discussion. Perhaps just note JT seems to be doing well at WVU, wish him the best DGD...or something to that effect. No sense in comparing them now.

What’s wrong with his performance? Dude is balling out with a shitty OL and WRs that have dropped a lot of passes including tipping 1 to the defense for 1 of his only 2 INTs….

Scoutie is playing very well in the system and Monken is doing an amazing job calling the games. Also helps when you have the weapons Scoutie has to get open and go up and get balls.

shite, Carson Beck has a better completion % and QBR than Scoutie. You wanna stir up that pot now too?

Enjoy the ride. QB is the very least concern of any position we have right now. We can plug anyone in and be fine. Worry about RB, OL, DB and DL when it comes to depth

JT has two game winning TD passes this year already. They were to the other team, but still.

I haven't watched Daniels this year. That said, it's difficult to judge because Stetson is obviously playing with a better surrounding cast.

(I was a supporter of Stetson, by the way)

I don't think JT could have won us a championship last season, though. Stetson's running made a difference on a lot of plays.

It is an alternate universe that JT Daniels was our QB and we will never know how it would have turned out. I am just glad Stetson decided to stay. He is playing very well and has earned our trust.

I would hope all of us were JT supporters considering he was on our team

you and peter still don't seem to grasp taht people can change their opnions on things as new information comes available. Adults do it all the time. JT was unequivocally the better QB in 2020, that's not even remotely debatable. It stands to reason he shoudl have been our starter in 2021, which he was. Early in 2021 who the frick really knows what was going on but in that first quarter of the season it was not unreasonable to still think JT shoudl have been our QB. Then, as we got more information and more games under our belts, it became clear that stetson was balling out and beating teams handily left and right. At that point the overwhelming majority of poeple were perfectly fine with how QB was handled.

What JT is doing now, 12 months later, on a different team, in a different conference, with different coaches and teammates....has less than nothing to do with your question.

You and peter really have some kind of weird hate boner for JT, who was a great teammate, didn't complain while benched, and transferred gracefully somewwhere else. Yall don't seem to care near as much about brenton cox or jalen kimber or others that left as punks and stayed in the conference.
