Google "Night To Shine" and will show how legit Tebow is. I'm a Vols fan but I can't think of very many people I respect more for putting their money where their mouth is. For many things to be successful as a charity requires someone with notoriety to champion them. That's just the way it has to be. Props to Hooker also. I've personally seen the positive that comes from giving handicapped kids the chance to be as normal as possible for just one night. Society as a whole tends to shun people with disabilities because its uncomfortable. He's an angel to the disadvantaged ones and what our opinion is doesn't really matter. To some of them it may be about the only joy they get to feel. If Tebow never does anything else, he's probably done more good than all of us combined.

Many indoctrinate their kids in the importance of sports. Some indoctrinate in religion. Now, it seems that social equality is the new religion, or indoctrination, for the latest generation or two.
I indoctrinated in the importance of a trade for mine. But as far as indoctrination goes ? Henderson repeating the lessons taught to him by his parents in the manner explained in the article is a fine thing - both for the young readers and him and his brother as the writers.
Marx was right. Religion is the opiate of the masses. But Marx was wrong in his dismissive tone. Because most need the opiate. Without it ? Well - look around.

I'm agnostic. But I'll readily admit, if the choice is kids taking an interest in Christianity, or today's current Social Media driven politics ? Buy the kids the comic books from Henderson. Its a better play, pure and simple.

What fantastic failure at even a cursory reading of scripture. The first verse deals with your own convictions about eating meat or not, drinking or not, etc. And the second verse is a treatise to share the Gospel with the World.

I'd prefer to see him helping establish a faith in Islam and a Quran worldview, then he would be doing them the greatest service he could offer.
