I just think it’s a bad look on the current state of our football program that we can’t pull a coach from Ole Miss. Now I have no clue if we offered or not, but if so and we got turned down to stay at Ole Miss that speaks volumes.

We aren’t getting turned down by Kiffin. 
There will be some bad optics of us paying a guy over 10M per year to come to Auburn after floundering to finish the year 1-4 at his old stay. We may just be less willing to budge on the contract and the deal dies.
The facts are awkward and quite frankly Freeze is currently floundering too. Auburn may be in a mess. Can’t wait until we see how Freeze performs once he trades in Umass for Georgia every year.
Hopefully Cohen is smart enough to think forward.

Even if Dart could transfer again, which he can’t without sitting out a year, I highly doubt he would follow Lane Kiffin at this point.
Dart’s dad has been liking anti-Kiffin tweets on Twitter since this started. He does not seem happy with Kiffin at all right now.

I almost got the impression that Lane knows he's staying at Ole Miss, but not by his own choice, and the reality of it was truly sinking in at the post-game conference...
