A recent NFL HC who rebuilt two CFB programs and is well admired even by the pro players he failed is potentially available. Gotta do the due diligence on that, IMO.

Not just that, I've heard multiple people say that he's very good at dealing with higher ups, and you can't forget that when he came into Baylor, they were dealing with the fallout of the Sexual Assault scandal, and had just had a 1 year interim in Jim Grobe.

I think that's what would happen with Deion too. We will both see who's right because we will hire Grimes

You’re a fool and not open minded to think outside the norm and see what Deion will be. Let’s get the safe hire. Screw all that. But, Rhule has all those Top 25 wins. Right? I am really shocked how hard the board is going for Rhule. We bitch about the PTB, but honestly, most of you think just like them.

Deion is an experiment and has major health issues.

Rhule is a proven winner. He wins games. He has a proven track record of that.

Lmao at anyone wanting Deion sanders to be head coach of Auburn.

if rhule can make some good staff hires who know how to recruit the southeast, i think that would make him a very dangerous HC at auburn. that's really the only concern i have with him. a secondary concern would be him leaving for somewhere else after a couple of years of success similar to what he did at baylor and temple (which makes sense because, well, it's temple). but that's less of a concern because if he's getting an offer somewhere else, it means he's done well at auburn. so really the concern is recruiting.

Not to be a contrarian but I won't do that with Deion. He has a very, very, very thin resume.

I'm not saying we won't look back and regret not taking the gamble, but it's a different situation. If Deion dominates somewhere, I don't think it's reasonable to look back and go, "wow a close to sure thing was staring us in the face and we overthought it."

I think in the new era of NIL, a pure recruiter is going to be less important than in years past. It's going to be more important to have the full confidence of the boosters and big money folks to fund the NIL coffers. Not saying knowing how to recruit won't be important, just that it will look different under NIL.

Right now I’m Rhule or Kiffin or riot

Although I’m likely not rioting if we hired Deion because at least we’re trying. Even if it is risky AF

This is where I am at as of now. I am not a hard no on Prime but those other two or Dykes would be ones I would consider first.

Prime is intriguing and would be a splash hire and bring a lot of press coverage.

What did you prove? Rhule hasn't? Kind of a stupid exercise on your part.

Did you think I thought Deion was coaching D1?

I’m down with kiff too… the man knows how to win games.

Deion needs a Rutgers type job first, not an sec west job.

No just pointing out the real rub against Deion. He only has two years or so in the SWAC.

But let’s make him the top priority hire, amirite?

I define him as a consideration with what he has accomplished.

But let’s stick with just Deion. Because he’s new and fresh.
