Clemson Memorial
82,500 (2007–present)

Record attendance
86,092 (Clemson Tigers v Florida State) (1999)

Williams–Brice Stadium
77,559 (2020–present)

Record attendance
85,199 (October 6, 2012 vs University of Georgia)

South Carolina is the flagship school located in the state’s capital (population of 136,632) and Clemson is a wannabe Auburn located in a potato field with a small village (population 13,905) nearby.

South Carolina is in the SEC and has well established programs like Georgia, Tennessee, and a rotating SEC West opponent come into town every other year while Clemson has Boston College, Syracuse, and Georgia Tech going to that potato field.

How does Clemson draw more people than South Carolina?

Because, whatever the reason, Carolina has a long, storied history of being trash in football. Great fans that deserve better in my book!

Gotta give it to the Bear, he taught his boys how to win and how to cheat.

Schnellenberger
Hell even Dubose for one shining moment

Good maybe he will show up and we can reminisce about playing dollar blackjack in Philadelphia, MS and fricking with Joe Lee about his feet stinking at the table because he wouldn’t wear socks

I didn’t even realize we had reduced seating with our recent upgrades.

Joe Lee Dunn.

No way in hell his and Orgeron's family tree don't fork very near to each other.

The average attendance is basically identical, even with Clemson's success. Considering their history and our terrible football history, we shouldn't be anywhere near them.

Wikipedia is for laziness and at times inaccurate. Williams Bryce holds 80+ which is not that far off from the 92,000 Hairy Dawg claims to seat.
Welcome to 1981 everyone. Nothing better than them Georgia bulldogs!

SCAR is the "flagship" in name only.

Clemson is the better school, bigger endowment, better football program, better campus, and in a better location.

SCAR is a glorified commuter school in the middle of a shithole city.

Sorry. Facts is facts.

I love Coach O but he fricked up more talent than Joe Lee ever had.

Joe Lee could take 5 walk-ons, 5 2 stars with one 3 star and make your day a living hell.

Clemson's always invested more into their football program than Carolina. The seating capacity thing is overblown. The Yale Bowl seats close to 90K, Stanford's stadium seated close to 100K up until just a few years ago. Tulanes old stadium seated like 85K. I think Rice's stadium is around 85K

80k to 92k is nearly the entire population of Clemson, SC. That’s quite a difference.

This is such a stupid take, but it makes sense, given the Upstate cult is the closest thing to the Aggies east of the Mississippi.
