I enjoy seeing Aggy lose as much as the next guy, but they lost two early games last year and everyone said they were going to go 1-3 over their next four with Bama and Auburn and they went 4-0.

I feel like Jimbo went very vanilla for App and it bit him in the arse, but they will bounce back this week.

I think they go 3-1 over the next 4- Miami, Arkansas, Miss St, Bama with Bama being the only loss

I don’t know about 3-1, but I put money on them to cover the 5.5 points against Miami

Went? Jimbo has been more vanilla than blue bell for 5 years running.

I agree to a certain extent, even the best teams/coaches can show up flat and get upset.

The thing that would be concerning to me if I were an Aggie is that both Sam Houston State and Appalachian State pushed them around in the trenches in consecutive weeks.

Appalachian State absolutely dominated that game and basically did whatever they wanted, it could've very easily been 24-7 or something like that.

QB & OL need to step up in a big way for that to happen. I don't think they have it in them to go 3-1 in that stretch. 2-2 to 1-3 seems like more likely

Uh no. Miami 35-3 based on what I’ve seen so far.

I have a lot of trouble believing they do better than 2-2.

I want to believe they’ll go 0-4, but I have a feeling they beat Miami this weekend even though the evidence says they probably “shouldn’t,” and that they’ll steal one win out of the SEC slate there.

Nothing would surprise me this game. Miami has been miraculously irrelevant for nearing 2 decades now. Every time people think they are back, they pull a loss like this one out then end up going something like 8-4 with questionable ACC losses to follow.

That being said if Jimbo doesnt make any real changes they are going to need Miami to play awfully bad for them to win this game.

I don't know WTF they were doing out there against The App Store- but sometimes weird things happen. It's happened to us.

I think they will rebound against the Depressions this weekend. But if for some reason they don't, the Aggie power brokers aren't going to be pleased....

I wouldn’t be surprised if A&M whoops them. Jimbo coached at FSU and had really good records against both UM and UF so I think that’s still in him

I have no idea how we’ll do against Miami, but that is the issue with A&M teams for years and years. Wildly inconsistent. We lose games we shouldn’t and win games we shouldn’t too. Usually averages out to, wait for it… 8-4.

Would the football gods really be so cruel as to let A&M win the SEC but b/c of the loss to App leave us out of the playoff in favor of a 1 loss Bama?

I have no confidence in Aggy.

However, I am pretty confident that Miami isn't any good either.

I could see Aggy pulling it off based on that alone.

I’m not sure if you even watched that game, App State controlled the clock and humiliated them in the 2nd half. I wasn’t sure there was a worse situation on offense than Auburn, but they both gave me a migraine last week.
