Trying to get the game completed before a hundred thousand homeless wake up and hit the streets pissing and shitting everywhere.

I like the Fox big noon kickoff. It makes everybody get a good 11:00 game, good 2:30 game and a good primetime game. The days of all big games being at 2:30 or all in primetime sucked.

Say bye to that for big games when you get to the real conference.

Fox has put their #1 game at noon for a few years now. This isn't some kind of new and surprising thing that just started.

I like it and hope both OU and Texas do this when they join the conference. Football earlier in the day is a good thing

I don't settle in to watch college football until 2:30pm...need to run errands before then...not a fan of the 11am time slot

No worries, just be sure to make your run to the liquor store on Friday

I mean I'm all for it, but does the SEC get to dictate gametimes to ESPN as part of the deal? If ESPN wants to counter Fox's Big Noon spot, how do we know they don't put a big game at 11am as well?

Why are people against good mid day games? I love having breakfast and watching a good game at 8am. I also think it makes college gameday better if the game is played right after gameday.

It does not. The same people here laughing about this thought that ESPN would never put games on ESPN+/SEC+ but that's already happening now. There will be huge games at noon, Thursday games, and Friday games soon enough. They really don't get how badly SEC leadership screwed up selling off all their rights to ESPN and ESPN alone. The SEC has zero leverage over ESPN for the next 10+ years.

I'm typically the same way. 11 is too early for big games. Scrubs play at 11, which is why I guess Alabama has to play Texas at 11.

It's great at home (one's actual house) but sucks for an in-person experience, especially if you're the visiting team and traveling any distance.

Good for you. In the SEC, all of the suck teams play at 11 anyway, so you've got something to look forward to.

Makes sense. That’s where I’ve seen MSU mostly.
