Bo had a 49 grade against Georgia.

There’s my palm branch to y’all. Time to move forward. Just like last year I use these PFF metrics for tracking information.

Did Moore, Alston, Bridges, James, etc not receive grades? You only have the amount of snaps they received

I think we need to pump the brakes on Robby. I get it. You can see the talent. But it was Mercer.

They did receive grades but JGT only posts top 5 performers for each unit and most notable to him. You can find the rest but you’d have to pay for PFF sub.

**Minimum 10 snaps played for ranking purposes.

TJ looked ok to start and got worse. It was just Mercer. Who has the most upside? You think we can do any better than 5-7 with Finley?

I’m not all in on Ashford yet but unlike a lost cause, there is something there in him unless that deep ball was beginners luck. He may be a project for a while but projects mean building. Building means hope. I don’t have that with Finley.

It’s a PFF grade not an opinion piece

I don’t think anyone is touting Ashford as tGOAT or anything.

Just that he might be better than Finley. Which is a low low bar. Finley also played Mercer last night.

I have a hard time believing Finley is going to suddenly understand how to read the safety against the likes of Penn State, LSU, and UGA.

Ashford? He’s still more of a blank slate so maybe? That aside, he still has more positive intangibles than Finley.

I wanted TJ to have a great night and grab the job by the horns. A consistent, dependable, place-holder QB might be good for the health of this program. But first you have to be consistent and dependable… and not even SEEING those safeties blows those virtues right out of the water.

I much prefer riding with greater potential than the same damn mistakes over and over and over again.

Especially in a season where we have low expectations anyway

Jville was right in saying Marcus Bragg had the best pass rush

The DL was pretty solid last night. They started to be even more effective in the 2nd half when we started sending an occasional blitz, giving the Mercer OL more to think about than the 4 players in front of them.

Not really surprising we kept it bland on D vs Mercer.

I was surpised to see he only played 12 snaps, he sure was around the ball a lot during that short period.

That chart has Cameron Stutts playing C. Didn't Tate Johnson play C all night?
