That’s bullshite. We had calls go against us in the first half. Yeah Cinci missed some big plays but sometimes it’s in the game plan to take chances against a questionable QB because you know he won’t capitalize on all of them, especially if he’s getting pressured

There are questionable calls and flat out shitty calls. We benefitted greatly from at least two shitty calls.

Hope we aren't screwed via injuries to the secondary.
The guys we had in place looked LOST.
KJ wasn't sharp today, BUT I think it was first game jitters with new receivers. I expect him to play great next week.

NC state nearly lost to east Carolina and Only won because ECU missed a GW FG, Iowa beat South Dakota thanks to 2 safeties, and North Carolina gave up 61 to app state. Cincinnati is way better than any of those teams. It could be a lot worse. And week 1 is probably the worst time to face cincy because that gives fickell, a great coach, all off season to game plan for us

Haselwood is way overrated. We have no go to WR right now. KJ really misses Burks.

He's no Burks, sure. But that TD catch he made was a thing of beauty, and he wasn't targeted much at all today other than that.
We now have the WR depth to make up for the loss of Burks, and Hazelwood is a great piece to make up a lot of that loss. Knox and Thompson are legit receivers too.
WR is one of the last position groups I'm worried about on this team

NC State was on the road. Iowa sucks. App St was favored by Vegas. None of those games matter to us.
